Job Title: Sr. Scrum Master

Location: Remote



Skills Required:

- Must have 6 years of experience serving software delivery teams as a
Scrum Master
- Must have 2 years of experience as a Sr. Scrum Master
- Experience working as a Scrum Master within an Agile/Scrum framework
and its application in product development and delivery
- Experience utilizing Agile project management and code management
tools (e.g., Azure DevOps or Jira)
- Experience in Azure DevOps and Microsoft Teams, preferred
- Experience in motivating teams and gamification
- Experience with an Application Life-cycle Management (ALM):
- Azure DevOps/TFS/VSTS (Preferred)
- Jira and confluence
- Trello
- Asana
- Knowledge of Agile principles
- Strong desire to help the team analyze and optimize processes and
procedures.
- Passion for creating and enjoyable and productive team environment
- Ability to adapt to a changing environment and to be a change advocate
- Ability to bring out the best in others, rather than dictating
- Ability to utilize coaching and conflict resolution skills


Special Qualifications:

- Scrum Master certification, required (PSM, CSM, CSPO or equivalent)
- Agile Certifications: At least one of the following: PSM, CSM,
PMI-AC, CSPO



Work Description:



- Work closely with the Chief Product Owner to deliver a potentially
releasable product increment at least every Sprint.
- Coordinate the teams delivery with the Product Owners Teams release
plans.
- Make impediments, process improvements, and progress visible to the
organization.
- Facilitate the prioritization and removal of impediments, paying
particular attention to cross-team dependencies.
- Mentoring lower-level scrum masters.
- Experienced developing various product types and removing impediments.
- Help support the Chief Product Owner, collaborate with their team and
lead by example.
- Facilitate scrum events/ceremonies and product demonstrations.
- Facilitating development teams across an organization, typically using
agile methodology.
- Works with Product Owner and team to identify risks, remove
bottlenecks and impediments, execute schedules, and refine sprint backlogs.
- Ensures guidelines and processes are in line with project
deliverables.
- Protects the team from interruptions.
- Project champion in charge of running the process and facilitating
overall team collaboration and project deliverables.
- Ensures work and impediments are made visible.
- Coaches the team, Product Owner, and organization in Scrum.
- Promotes the Scrum values and the value and principles from the Agile
Manifesto.
