Responsible to possess a high level of knowledge and skill required to facilitate breakthrough improvements in key processes. Spends 100% of time leading Six Sigma and Lean productivity projects and mentoring part-time. Ability to influence and gain commitment at all organizational levels. Promote and lead change by shifting paradigms, challenging the status quo and demonstrating sustainable results from Six Sigma projects


JOB SPECIFICATIONS:


Directs the activities of the Operational Excellence group which involves defining, designing and implementing continuous improvement programs. Responsible for the analysis of improvement programs and the definition of improvement projects. Consults with executives and other levels of line management regarding performance metrics to measure program success. Drives all aspects of the Operational Excellence programs including project reviews, communications, training, certifications and rewards. Ensures adherence to quality and safety standards with all improvement efforts. Partner with leadership to define key process improvement areas. Lead and execute major process improvement projects. Work with team to implement and sustain general Lean best practices (5S audits, visual mgt, etc). Assist team in driving continuous improvement culture. Update project tracking database with project status


QUALIFICATIONS:


High School Diploma or equivalent. Minimum of 1 – 3 years of relevant experience. Strong work ethic. Effective oral and written communication skills. Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Customer service experience.

Excellent teamwork ability. High standards of quality and integrity.1- 3 years relevant experience. Pre Employment Skills testing as well as background and drug testing required. Certification is required with 18 months of hire.
