We are looking for an experienced full time Software Engineer to be responsible for the creation and optimisation of our suite of digital products. In this role you will work independently, as well as a member of a small, cross-functional team in a fast-paced environment.


Responsibility:
• development, maintenance and documentation of RESTful Python API's
• design and implementation of cloud services in AWS and Google Cloud environments
• optimisation and feature updates of existing digital products
• proactive problem-solving
• Further code is written to correct identified IT errors and ensure the system is error-free.
• Continue to work with business leaders to identify development needs and design system improvements to meet those needs

Requirements:
• Relevant IT Bachelor Degree
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experiences
• demonstrable experience with the development and optimisation of digital products as a member of a small, fast-moving team
• ability to provide cost-effective solutions to technical and operational challenges
• sense of personal accountability and product ownership
• exceptional communication and documentation skills
• extensive experience with:
• Python API design, development, maintenance and documentation
• AWS and/or Google Cloud (ideally both)
• NoSQL and MySQL database systems
• some experience with:
• DevOps processes (CI/CD, unit testing, integration testing and automation)
• cloud services security and quality assurance

Salary offered: $70,000 to $80,000 plus Superannuation
