DIRECTOR OF EXECUTIVE COMPENSATION

Philadelphia, PA

Responsibilities

Manage the company’s global short-term (annual incentive) and long-term equity incentive programs for approximately 800 employees Globally.
Assist with preparation of proxy statement, CD&A and compensation tables.
Monitor executive compensation regulations to ensure compliance.
Develop and prepare presentation materials for the Compensation Committee of the Board of Directors and work alongside the Chief Executive Officer in preparation for those discussions.
Conduct competitive benchmarking and survey analysis to evaluate competitiveness of executive pay levels and programs; research and resolve issues of pay for internal and external consistency and equity.
Monitor industry and peer group trends and proactively identify areas which company programs may be becoming out of sync with our peer group.
Prepare summary updates for senior management regarding developments in executive compensation and be available to explain technicalities and strategy.
Consult with senior executives and human resources partners on complex executive hires, promotions, terminations and special arrangements related to compensation. Participate on acquisition due diligence and integration teams as subject matter expert on executive compensation.
Collaborate with external compensation consultants to ensure all relevant information is disseminated in a timely and understandable fashion.

Requirements
Bachelor’s degree required.
10+ years of experience in executive compensation.
2+ years management experience.
Experience with a Global, Public company is ideal.
Ability to work at the strategic level as well as the tactical.
Knowledge of SEC reporting and accounting rules is required.
Strength in communications; at ease with all levels in a corporate structure and able to explain technical detail to those with less knowledge and get into specifics with those who have more experience.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
Must have strong project management skills with a detail orientation.
